The album is on its way to final mixing in LA by Danny Saber, who worked with talented and different artists such as Rolling Stones, David Bowie, Madonna, Marylin Manson, Alice Cooper, Public Enemy, Michael Hutchence, Joe Strummer amongst many others ! Prepare yourself to killer mixes 😉

De retour en studio à Manchester cet hiver pour enregistrer 12 nouvelles chansons à paraître sur notre prochain album au studio Voltalab (ex Cargo et Suite 16) qui a notamment vu passer dans ses murs : Joy Division, Stone Roses, Happy Mondays ou Jesus and Mary Chain. Autant dire que c’est un endroit plein de bonnes vibrations.
 Nous avons décidé de retravailler avec Yves Altana, qui a notamment joué avec The Chameleons Vox et I Am Kloot et qui avait réalisé et mixé notre précédent album.
A nouveau, nous avons invité des musiciens formidables sur cet album, Julie Gordon, Monica Ward et Louise Turner aux choeurs, mais aussi d’autres guests à la basse, au chant et… aux cuivres ; mais chut… surprise 😉

We have 12 new songs to record this winter in Voltalab (Former Cargo and Suite 16), greater Manchester and to feature on our next album. Great vibes in there since Joy Division, Stone Roses, Happy Mondays or Jesus and Mary Chain recorded some songs there.

We also have special guests again on this album : Julie Gordon, Monica Ward and Louise Turner on backing vocalists, but also very special guests on bass, vocals and Horns ; surprises to be announced 😉

De retour en studio à Manchester cet hiver, nous avons enregistré 12 nouvelles chansons à paraître sur notre prochain album.
Cet album est réalisé et mixé par Yves Altana, qui a notamment joué avec The Chameleons et I Am Kloot et, au-delà du superbe boulot qu’il a fait c’est aussi une magnifique rencontre avec mec super cool.
Deux invités de marque sont aussi présents sur cet album : Peter Hook, légende vivante du rock et ex-bassiste de Joy Division et New Order a joué sur trois titres et c’est la première fois qu’il travaille avec un groupe français !
Julie Gordon, chanteuse des mythiques Happy Mondays a quant à elle accepté de venir faire les choeurs sur quatre chansons et ce sont des interventions de grande classe !
A l’occasion du Disquaire Day , nous avons sorti un EP Digipack/Digital avec notre nouveau single « On the Run » (feat. Peter Hook) et quelques remix signés Kino Club ou Alex Millan (entre autres). Il est disponible sur notre site avec un paypal sécurisé.

We recorded 12 new songs this winter in Calder recordings, greater Manchester to feature on our next album.
This album is produced and mixed by Yves Altana who played with The Chameleons or I am Kloot. He made a great job at last but not least it’s been a fantastic encounter because he’s a very cool guy !
We also have two special guests on this album : Peter Hook, living rock legend and former bassist of Joy Division and New Order played on three songs and this is the very first time he works with a french band !
Happy Mondays singer Julie Gordon also tracked the backing vocals for six songs and her performance is hell of class !
We released an Digipack/Digital EP with our new single « On the Run » (feat. Peter Hook) and some remixes from Alex Millan, Kino Club and some more…
This is the time to get it on our website (www.destijl.info) and also participate to our crowdfunding campaign because our budget isn’t clear yet. You can participate from €10, and the forthcoming EP (signed and numbered limited edition) is €20. Paypal secured payment is provided.
